Day: 1 Dar es salaam to Selous

After taking your breakfast at your hotel, our driver will brief you about your trip, then around 08:00 am you will start a 4hours journey to Selous Game Reserve.
Arrive at the reserve, check in the hotel, enjoy hotel facilities,then later, you will go for boating safari at Rufiji river. Experience the beautiful sunset at Rufiji River, while enjoying the hippos groaning. The sunset at RufijiRiver will give you a sense of calmness and energy to start your new safari day. After 60 minutes of boating safari in the RufijiRiver which is among the largest river in the country, then dinner and overnight.

Day 2 Full Day Game Drive Selous

Wake up early in the morning around 06:00am, have your breakfast at lodge’s buffet, you will go for a full day safari drive with your packed lunch boxes in the vehicle. While in safari, expect to see different varieties of wildlife such as lions, elephants, crocodiles, giraffe, antelope, buffalos, hippos, birds, and without forgetting the famous African hunting dogs. In the middle of the day you will have your lunch in the special picnic site, later on, in the evening, you will get back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 Selous To Mikumi Via Pwaga & Enroute Game Drive:

Have a little waking around the park and a journey to Mikumi national park begins at 8:00am After taking your breakfast at the lodge’s buffet, This is the 8 hours’drive, along the road you will have a chance to spot some other wildlife and other features. Arrive in the evening go back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay. Accommodation: Camp Bastian Lodge

Day 4 Mikumi Full Day Game Drive

Wake up early in the morning walk to masai village with masai guide on the way you will witness different birds with Morning sounds you will have the history of the birds and masai village experience. You will be learning more and experience Maasai stories about their life style and you will get a chance to see Maasai Boma also to sing Maasai songs and dancing. Get back to your car and have a drive to the hotel for breakfast, around 08:00 am on time, drive to Mikumi national park for Full day Game drive.

Mikumi national park, the 5th largest park in the country endowed with varieties of wildlife and other species of birds and plants. Located just 300km away from the commercial city of Dar-es-Salaam, the park has a lot more to offer for its visitors.

Day 5 Mikumi To Dar Es Salaam

Wake up early in the morning after breakfast and start a journey back to Dar-es-Salaam via Morogoro. You will have 7- 8 hours’ drive. Depending on your flight schedule, you will arrive in Dar-es-Salaam, and go straight to the Mwalimu Nyerere Internatinal Airport for departure or ferry terminal.
